FinEdge came to us with a legacy online banking portal that was slow, hard to navigate, and losing customers during sign-up. We rebuilt the platform end-to-end — a unified data layer, a resumable onboarding flow, and real-time transaction dashboards — so their team could finally ship new features without waiting on us.
Challenges
Fragmented Core Banking Data
The legacy portal pulled account data from three disconnected internal systems, which regularly caused balance and transaction mismatches during peak load.
Slow, Confusing Onboarding
New customers dropped off during KYC verification because the multi-step form gave no progress feedback and silently reset on errors.
No Real-Time Transaction Visibility
Customers had no way to see pending transfers update live — everything required a manual page refresh to confirm a transaction had gone through.
Compliance & Audit Requirements
Every account action needed an immutable audit trail for financial regulators, without adding noticeable latency to the UI.
Mobile Performance on Low-End Devices
A large share of FinEdge's users banked from older Android devices on patchy connections, and the existing site simply didn't load reliably for them.

We built a single GraphQL gateway that reconciled all three core banking systems into one consistent schema, eliminating balance mismatches at the source.
Resumable Onboarding Flow
KYC was redesigned as a save-and-resume wizard with inline validation, so a dropped session or a typo never means starting over.
Real-Time Dashboards
WebSocket-driven transaction feeds mean balances and transfers update instantly on screen, with no refresh required.
Append-Only Audit Logging
Every write operation is logged to an append-only ledger service, satisfying regulator audit requirements without adding UI latency.
Performance Budget Enforcement
Every screen was benchmarked against Core Web Vitals on low-end Android device profiles before it was allowed to ship.
